Amy Barnard is an editorial and commercial photographer specializing in: interiors, architecture, and travel, and is a licensed drone pilot.
She is especially drawn to the aesthetics of classic and historic design and architecture, whether New England Colonial Revival, the grand Palladian or Neoclassic estates in Great Britain, or the great Chateaux of France. But likewise, she is also drawn to the beautiful lines and shapes created in modern architecture, having been influenced by the many years she spent in a friend’s family home that was commissioned by Frank Lloyd Wright. She has been running her Los Angeles based business since 2004.
Amy received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Brooks Institute (Summa Cum Laude & Valedictorian), and also holds a French culinary degree from Peter Kump's NY Cooking School.
Aside from her work and travel, her favorite pastimes include competing in dressage with her horse Beau, reading historical novels, listening to classic rock, downhill skiing, painting, and studying French.
